Following the advent of the best direct drive racing wheel to come onto the scene in decades, Logitech has launched an interesting new component to its lineup of stellar products for simulated racing enthusiasts. The new Logitech Racing Adapter allows virtual gearheads to customize their setups with equipment from different generations.
That’s right, you can now use your Driving Force H-pattern shifter with your Logitech G Pro Direct Drive racing wheel. In fact, you can mix and match all sorts of Logitech peripherals into your preferred configuration using gear from diffferent generations with no problems. The adapter will allow users to combine the Pro Wheel and/or Pro Pedals with G27, G29, G920 and G923 wheel and pedals as well as the venerable Driving Force Shifter.
Logitech G923 Racing Wheel & Pedals
One of the most popular entry-to-mid level sim racing wheels available today. The G923 delivers strong TRUEFORCE feedback up to 1000 Hz that lets you feel the road with refreshing clarity, a responsive brake pedal with progressive spring, and a solid set of pedals built for consistent control. It includes a programmable dual-clutch launch system for cleaner starts, a genuine leather-wrapped wheel, and straightforward compatibility with PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Logitech G racing peripherals from previous generations employ a 9-pin serial port interface. The new peripherals use a USB interface. The new Racing Adapter allows users to connect older pedals, shifters, and other peripherals.
In addition to mixing and matching as noted above, the Racing Adapter also features a quick brake tuner so you can customize your Logitech G Pro load cell brake. You can customize your brakes in the middle of a race if you need to so you get the feel and pressure just right on the fly. I’ll be purching the adapter for the brake adjustment feature alone.
The Logitech Racing Adapter is compatible with PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. It works with an array of Logitech peripherals and the Logitech G Hub software. Logitech plans to use USB connections for its racing gear going forward, so it will also work with future peripherals.
The Racing Adapter is currently only available from the Logitech website.
