iRacing is a challenge on many levels for new users. The website has a lot of information and many pages to discover. Sometimes it’s hard to find what you need.
Thrustmaster T300RS GT Steering Wheel & Pedal Set
The T300 is a proven mid-range wheel with smooth belt-driven force feedback and a responsive brushless motor for clear track feel. An 11-inch leather wheel, solid three-pedal GT set, and PS5, PS4, and PC compatibility give racers the precision to brake later, hold tighter lines, and improve lap after lap.

iRacing setups are daunting if you’ve never set up a real race car. I never have, and it took me a long time to learn what little I know about setting up an iRacing Late Model or Street Stock car. What I know now isn’t that much, and some of it could very well be wrong.
I should note here, if you’ve stumbled across this page looking for help with setups, the only help you will find here is for dirt track and short oval racing. In fact, that’s about the only segments of iRacing with which this website is concerned.
Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0
Master your laps without dominating the room. The Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 stands rock-solid for direct-drive wheels, yet folds away in seconds when real life calls. Full adjustability for wheel, pedals, and shifter lets a man settle into his proper position the honest way. A clever chair cradle keeps your seat planted under hard braking, while predrilled mounts welcome Thrustmaster, Fanatec, Logitech, and the rest. Upgrade later to a full cockpit with the GTSeat add-on. Serious performance, sensible footprint—no compromises required.

In these pages, I’m going to try to pass on what I’ve learned about iRacing tricks, tweaks, and shortcuts, and about iRacing setups. I’m going to try to do it from my perspective — the guy who knows nothing about setting up a real race car. This is a work in progress, and probably will be for some time. If some of you veterans would like to contribute something to these pages, please do so either by leaving comments at the bottom of any of the pages, or by sending me a private message.
