This is a qualifying setup for Martinsville Speedway 2018 Season 1. The setup was prepared by Alexander Encarnacao. I don’t have time to test this setup but I’m told it holds the single lap record for 2018 Season 1. It is built for qualifying so it’s not a good idea to add fuel and try to race with it. It was also built using a game controller so you will probably want to adjust the steering ratio.
iRacing Asphalt Late Model Setups for Martinsville Speedway
Here’s my setup for Martinsville Speedway 2018 Season 1, version 1. This is my favorite Late Model setup for Martinsville. Some guy may look at the springs and stagger and scratch his head, but this setup is based in science. The stagger is what really should be on a Late Model at Martinsville. The springs are simply softened up all the way around. It gives the car more traction and I think the tires wear better in longer runs. It’s definitely faster than version 2, at least for my style.
Here’s my setup for Martinsville Speedway 2018 Season 1, version 2. This is a little tighter than version 1.
Here’s my setup for Martinsville Speedway 2017 Season 4, version 2. This is a little tighter than version 1.
This is version 1 of my iRacing setup for Martinsville Speedway 2017 Season 4. This one is my favorite. I think it holds up much better on a longer run.
