Southern National Motorsports Park Track Information
Southern National Motorsports Park is a four-tenths mile high-banked paperclip track located in Lucama, North Carolina. The track has a good asphalt surface and is very wide at seventy feet with four lanes available, although you will mostly use just one if you want to be fast. SNMP is banked at seventeen degrees in the turns and seven degrees on the straightaways. Your preferred line on this track is going to be low in the turns then all the way out near the wall on the straights.
Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0
Master your laps without dominating the room. The Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 stands rock-solid for direct-drive wheels, yet folds away in seconds when real life calls. Full adjustability for wheel, pedals, and shifter lets a man settle into his proper position the honest way. A clever chair cradle keeps your seat planted under hard braking, while predrilled mounts welcome Thrustmaster, Fanatec, Logitech, and the rest. Upgrade later to a full cockpit with the GTSeat add-on. Serious performance, sensible footprint—no compromises required.

SNMP first opened in 1993. The track closed in 2009 and was put up for auction in 2011, and was purchased by Michael Diaz and Jerry Brown for $650,000. The track reopened in February of 2012 and has been in continuous operation ever since.
Southern National Motorsports Park Driving Tips
While the best way around the turns is by hugging the very bottom with your left sides on the blend line, you might notice that turns one and two are glassy smooth while turns three and four have some small bumps, so keep that in mind as you make your way around this very fast short track. The bumps can upset your line a little bit on that end of the track. Thanks to the smooth, well-maintained racing surface and the high banking, you can push it pretty hard on this track.
