Creekadega Chaos: Gravel Conquers Wild Creek County Debut, Claims Third Consecutive Victory

If you seek a broad array of iRacing setups at prices that actually make sense, you will find
them in our Discord. We keep the selection wide and the costs low, just as they ought to be
.

David Gravel Wins Creekadega 40
Creek County Speedway appeared on more calendars than Christmas when the 2026 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series schedule landed. Folks in the region adore the Sapulpa bullring for good reason. The place packs tight, multi-groove racing into every lap, demands white-knuckle commitment from start to finish, and never apologizes for it. Add the finest sprint car drivers on the planet to that Oklahoma quarter-mile dubbed “Creekadega,” and fireworks become inevitable. Saturday night proved the point in spectacular fashion.

The Greatest Show on Dirt rolled into the Sooner State for the inaugural visit, and the crowd witnessed forty laps of unrelenting, high-wire sprint car warfare. Four different drivers—each a legitimate threat—held the lead at some stage, turning the Creekadega 40 into a clinic on wheel-to-wheel combat.

Bill Balog and Logan Schuchart traded the point back and forth through the early going, swapping paint and positions like old rivals settling a score. Michael “Buddy” Kofoid then muscled his way to the front near the halfway mark, showing why he ranks among the elite. David Gravel seized control in the second half, only to watch Schuchart mount a ferocious comeback as the laps ticked under ten to go. On Lap 33, Schuchart ripped the top side, fenced his way around Gravel, and briefly looked like the man to beat.

The Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel and Pedals delivers the real thing. With precise force feedback, stainless-steel paddle shifters, and responsive floor pedals, every corner and braking zone feels authentic. Built for PlayStation and PC, the G29 turns your sim rig into a true driver’s seat. If you want tighter laps and sharper control, this is the wheel that gets you there.

The two-time and defending champion refused to flinch. Gravel stayed glued to the bottom groove, patient as a man waiting out a storm, and reclaimed the lead three circuits later. From there, he fended off Kofoid’s determined late charge to seal the victory in the series’ first-ever appearance at Creek County. The win marked Gravel’s third consecutive triumph with the Outlaws—a streak built on composure when lesser drivers crack.

That is how you honor a debut that lived up to every ounce of anticipation: no fluff, no excuses, just hard racing and a champion who knows exactly when to strike. The bullring delivered mayhem; Gravel delivered the checkers. Traditional dirt racing at its unvarnished best.
