The 2026 High Limit Racing Results: Saturday’s Unvarnished Reckoning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

March 15, 2026 by Jeff Kendrick Leave a Comment

The 2026 Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing season opened its gates in the straightforward, no-nonsense manner that serious dirt-track devotees have always expected, running March 12 through 14 at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and thereby launching the series’ third full-time national campaign. Saturday’s 30-lap feature brought the three-race SugarBee Blackjack Dash to its proper conclusion on the Las Vegas dirt oval, the first stop on a 62-race schedule that every sensible fan could watch streamed live on FloRacing without the modern nonsense of paywalls or excuses.

Master your laps without dominating the room. The Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 stands rock-solid for direct-drive wheels, yet folds away in seconds when real life calls. Full adjustability for wheel, pedals, and shifter lets a man settle into his proper position the honest way. A clever chair cradle keeps your seat planted under hard braking, while predrilled mounts welcome Thrustmaster, Fanatec, Logitech, and the rest. Upgrade later to a full cockpit with the GTSeat add-on. Serious performance, sensible footprint—no compromises required.

Aaron Reutzel, starting from the pole, led every single one of those 30 laps the old-fashioned way—by simply being faster than everyone else—and collected the $21,021 winner’s check for his first victory of the young season. Tanner Thorson, never one to mail in a challenge, slid past Reutzel entering turn three with three laps left and actually took the lead for a moment, but the caution flag waved almost immediately afterward, rendering the pass as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Corey Day, running a solid second at the time, saw his evening end five laps from the finish when his left-rear tire decided it had better places to be and simply let go. Justin Peck, meanwhile, earned the night’s hard-charger honors the honest way, clawing from 23rd on the grid all the way to seventh, proving once again that starting position is merely a suggestion for those who refuse to accept it.high limit racing las vegas 2026
