On the heels of the big dirt racing announcement, iRacing has now announced that they will be adding Pennsylvania’s Williams Grove Speedway in addition to Eldora Speedway.
Known simply as “The Grove,” Williams Grove Speedway has hosted many headlining series and some of racing’s most prestigious dirt races including USAC National Championship races from the 1950s, and today’s National Open, one of dirt sprint car racing’s most lucrative events.
The Williams Grove Winner’s Circle has seen some of the biggest names in racing, including Gordon Johncock, Steve Kinser, Tommy Hinnershitz, Sammy Swindell, Ted Horn, Doug Wolfgang, and Jan Opperman, just to name a few.
“Since 1939, ‘The Grove’ has been synonymous with the best dirt track racing in the world and I’m certain it is destined to hold a similar place in the hearts of online motorsports enthusiasts,” said iRacing Veep Steve Myers. “iRacing is delighted to add Williams Grove to our catalog of legendary race tracks.”

Williams Grove Speedway was one of my favorite tracks in Dirt Track Racing 2. Flat turns, long straightaways, and watch out for that gate! 😀
