Amidst all the dirt racing hype, iRacing just announced that they will be adding another asphalt short track to the lineup. It’s always good to see more short tracks whether they’re dirt or asphalt.
The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be coming to iRacing in the 2017 Season 2 build which is less than a month away. Let’s hope some dirt content gets the same release date. The Bullring is a three-eighths mile asphalt oval with 10° banking. The images from iRacing don’t show the flags around the track, but iRacing says they will be there for the release in March.
Speaking of dirt, there is s half-mile dirt track on the same ground as Las Vegas Motor Speedway and The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Now I have a question for you: If iRacing went to Las Vegas and scanned The Bullring, do you think they would just skip the dirt track? I don’t think they would. However, if they scanned The Bullring some time ago, maybe they did skip the dirt track. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but I’ll bet one of the first dirt tracks we get, other than Eldora and The Grove, will be the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
