It’s Week 13 Again

It’s Week 13 again, or at least it will be Tuesday at Midnight GMT.

Once again, iRacing offers little to nothing of interest during Week 13. You can go lose a load of ratings in the Street Stock Series at tracks like Charlotte Legends Oval, Lanier, Oxford Plains, South Boston, and Thompson.

If you own the Gen6 cars of if you you’re in the mood to waste some money on them, you can run the Carburetor Cup. It’s a wreck fest but at least there are no ratings. You’ll also have to waste your money on Talladega Super Speedway, if you haven’t already.

There will be some races at Irwindale Speedway. Word is that the track will soon be demolished. From what I can gather, all the racing at Irwindale will be unofficial, so no ratings losses for these wreck fests. There will be racing in the Late Models, Street Stocks, Super Late Models, and Modifieds. The SK Modifieds will also run Figure Eight races.

If they manage to get the new build out in time, The Super Late Models will run at Five Flags Speedway. Don’t bet the ranch on it. I’ve seen iRacing falsely advertise Week 13 events in the past. I think these are also unofficial but I can’t say for sure.

At least Irwindale offers something slightly interesting, and, if Five Flags is ready, there is that. Enjoy.
