If you have a good Richmond setup, you’ll also have a good Stafford setup if you change your rear-end ratio and fuel for Stafford instead of Richmond.

That’s true, but you can say that about a lot of setups. I’ve used Richmond, South Boston, and a couple of other iracing setups on this track (with fuel and rear end changes) with some success. In fact, if you get a really hot oval setup, you can usually get it to work on almost any other oval track with very minor changes.

I would say it is true to some extent. If your Richmond setup is good, the chances are your tire pressures are going to be too high for Stafford. To get the most out of it, you are probably going to have to change a few other things besides fuel and gear.

Thanks Jeff!!! You are awesome!! I run the Back of the Pack league and we are running Late Models. We are a league of “rookies” and inexperienced drivers that want to learn, make mistakes, and grow together without getting in the way of the big dogs or getting frustrated at wrecked in rookie races. Think of it as a safe haven training ground. We have about 50 members, but around 22 active every week. We race the iRacing track one week before they do to prepare like your league. It has actually resulted in official wins for some of our drivers. You should come by sometimes and give us a setup class…..lol. Thanks again for everything.

The best setup class I found was the Gary Hensley setup videos in the iRacing forum or in the help section on this site.

Thanks for the GREAT Bristol setup osracing.net-161! I did take it pretty easy in the race and it was perfect all the way to the end and I got the win! Thanks so much for all you do!

Hi guys. I just got out of the fixed leagues and am running fairly well on my own (staying clean, mostly been running SK Mods but want to get into the Late Models now), and I’m looking to up my finishes a little bit. I was just wondering if any of these setups would be easier than the others to adapt to Oxford Plains since I don’t see one listed for that track, and it’s coming up soon. For one reason or another, I can’t seem to dial my car in and make it stable for duration on that track, in either the mods or the LMs, but I can at least be stable on the others even if I’m sort of slow.

I will build a setup for Oxford Plains well before the official race there. If you’d like to try to adapt something, I’d start with the latest Lanier National Speedway setup.

I have never driven a better setup in ANY car than your Myrtle Beach set. Its perfectly balanced for the entire race. I wish I could build setups like that!

When i started using your setups, I started winning races. I’m learning to tweak them now to suit my style better, and I hope one day to build my own, but I’m sticking with yours in the meantime. Thank you so much for this valuable resource!

Go to the last page for the car/track you are looking for and look at the bottom. The setups are sorted alphabetically/numerically so the latest setups will always be at the end. If you’re looking for a Langley setup, 174 should still be great. If not, I can adjust it. Let me know.
