No Asphalt Street Stocks; iRacing Setup Focus for 2019 Season 2

March 7, 2019 by Jeff Kendrick Leave a Comment

If you seek a broad array of iRacing setups at prices that actually make sense, you will find
them in our Discord. We keep the selection wide and the costs low, just as they ought to be
.

As some of you have noticed, the iRacing Asphalt Street Stock setups are no longer working. If you try to download a setup file from any of the Asphalt Street Stock pages, you will get an empty file. This happens when the file you are downloading is still indexed in the download management system but actually doesn’t exist. The reason I removed those setups is because iRacing has made significant changes to the Asphalt Street Stock car and the setups no longer work. Outside of Week 13 Street Stock Challenge setups, I have no plans to build any more Asphalt Street Stock setups. All of the Street Stock classes on iRacing run fixed setups so there is no reason for me to invest the time required to make new ones. I have not had time to remove the many Street Stock setup pages, but they will be coming down slowly.

For 2019 Season 2, Old School Racing Motorsports will focus on setup building for the following classes in this order:

  1. 360 Sprint Cars
  2. 410 Sprint Cars
  3. Asphalt Late Models
  4. Dirt Super Late Models
  5. Asphalt Super Late Models
  6. UMP Modifieds
  7. Pro Late Models
  8. Asphalt Legends
  9. SK Modifieds

That’s a lot of cars to build for and we may not build setups for all of the cars every week. All we can do is start at the top and work down until we finish or run out of time. If we get a request for a specific car we may move it up in priority.

Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel and Floor Pedals, Real Force Feedback, Stainless Steel Paddle Shifters, Leather Steering Wheel Cover for PS5, PS4, PC, Mac Serious sim racers know the difference between a toy and a tool. The Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel and Pedals delivers the real thing. With precise force feedback, stainless-steel paddle shifters, and responsive floor pedals, every corner and braking zone feels authentic. Built for PlayStation and PC, the G29 turns your sim rig into a true driver’s seat. If you want tighter laps and sharper control, this is the wheel that gets you there.

That’s just what we are going to attempt to build. We will also continue to provide iRacing setups for virtually all oval racing disciplines available on iRacing. We receive these setups from several different sources.
