Here’s a Dirt Street Stock setup for Lanier National Speedway 2019 Season 2. This setup was prepared for moderate track usage by Old School Racing Motorsports. All of the Dirt Street Stock series currently running on iRacing use fixed setups, so I haven’t made a setup for this car in a long time. Since this is the best car on iRacing, I decided to make setups for some tracks. Lanier is the most popular track in the Class C official fixed setup series, so I’m starting there. Official races are fixed, but there is plenty of league and hosted racing going on in the superb iRacing Dirt Street Stock. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in races in this car, either league, hosted, or official, and had five different drivers driving their hearts out battling for the lead, and you could probably throw a blanket over all five of us. This is the best racing I’ve experienced on iRacing in my six years here.
This setup should work pretty well on moderate usage tracks, that being from around 35% to about 65% usage. Most of the official races probably end somewhere around that usage range, just so you know what you’re looking at. You should be able to knock about 2 to 4 tenths off of your times in the default iRacing setup.
If you’re looking for league racing in this car, join the OSR Dirt Street Stock League? At the time of this post, we’re running on Friday nights at 9:00 pm eastern time. We also run Limited and Pro Late Models. Check the schedule for up-to-date information.
